Hello, my new years resolution is to get healthy and happy with my body in 2009.
To that end, I would like to lose 20 pounds and gain strength and lose flab.
Beginning Stats:
19, Female
Weight: 180
Height: 5'8
38/30/40
Currently I don't drink soda or eat fried foods and super heavy foods very often but I don't count calories or anything.
I ride my bike to school and work (averaging about 4.5 miles a day) and I'm going to be going to the gym 3 times a week with my roommate.
I'm rather new to the gym, and would like some advice on what to do once I get there. I went there today and stretched first, then ran for 15 minutes, did the rowing machine for another 15 and then did some reps on the weight machines (focusing on arms and tush)
Any advice would be very helpful
