Hello, I'm Heather and this is my first time on the boards. I've looked around and really like what I see!

DH and I both need to improve our health, so thought I'd join.

Although I do plan meals every week, I have lapsed completely into 'quick-regardless-of-nutritional-value' meal planning. So, I bought a couple of healthy cooking cookbooks and will start meal planning tonight.

Along with that, my goal for this week is to drink more water.

Baby steps I guess!

:seeya: Hi Heather!! Welcome aboard :D you can do it!! I saw a billboard this weekend with someone holding a baby in one hand and it said "we all started small." Really put things in perspective for me. So starting with water may seem like a small step, but its very important and essential to weight loss and good health! I wish you and your DH all of the best :)
 
Hi Heather, thanks for dropping by my journal. I bet it is just as cold in The Hat as it is here in Calgary. I have been getting out riding my bike in the cold but this is just to cold. I thought my hand was going to fall off when I put gas in my jeep yesterday. Start a diary, it really helps to keep motivated.
