Hey guys, I just registered. My name is Santos, I am 20 like my profile says. I weigh in at a whopping 314 lbs. I am 5'11" and my long term goal is 190 lbs. I wish I could just unzip the fat suit, but I know it doesn't work like that.j
I just recently stopped drinking sodas. I know that 126 lbs is alot of weight to lose, but I am hoping to do it by next christmas...I have tried dieting and stuff before, started at 326 and when I gave up I was at 275. I lose motivation really easily. I'm hoping that you guys here on this forum can help give me the tips, and support I need. Can anyone give me some pointers on where to get started in my transformation?
 
welcome and good luck in reaching your goal. i've found this forum very helpful when it comes to useful information and motivation and i hope it does the same for you :)
 
Welcome to the Forum.. You will find lots of info and help here.. I'm a newbie also, but the people here are great.. If you have any questions ask the Mods, they will help you with anything..
I find keeping a journal and counting calories are very helpful tools..
If you can afford a personal trainer, or classes at the gym, they help too.
If you can't do that.. Cardio and Strength work out right in your home will also work..
Don't give up.. Do it for you!! Do it for the energy you will get, and seeing the
pounds fall off is one of the best feelings..
Just remember you can do it!!.. Don't let your mind sabotage your efforts..
