A friend and I started to go to the gym together on January 19th of this year. At that time I weighed 325 lbs with no actual goal but to get into better shape and live past the age of 40. My buddy had an idea to start our own "Biggest Loser" between friends of ours before the start of the year. Naturally, I had the most weight to lose. The first couple weeks I'd lose 5-6 pounds, then once I got to about 295 lbs I slowed down, and even gained some weight back. Since January I've been going to the gym about 3 times a week, slowly increasing the intensity. Right now I'm at 292 lbs and I think I figured out where I've been messing up. I've been slacking a lot on weekends and my #1 rule of "no soda ever" gets pushed to the side. I used to be a heavy weekend drinker before the beginning of the year, but I think I've only drank about 3-4 times this year total. Perhaps I can exchange some stories here and get totally refocused again. Thanks for reading!
