New to the Site, looking for helpers.

Hi, my name is Kristina and I am currently a high school student dreading the way i feel about myself. I've been trying to lose weight for a while now and everytime i think i'm actually losing weight i am gaining it instead. I am looking for some help. I need some advice on how to lose weight, and how to lose it fast. Summer is coming up and I would love to fit into a bikini and actually look good, not only that but FEEL good about myself while im wearing it. My problem is that i am not a morning person, i rarely eat breakfast and i dont have lunch till i get home around three then i constantly eat till i go to bed around ten that night... I have gotten a little better at it, however i still need help. I weighed myself the other day and i am currently 217 lbs, i would love to be 130 lbs. For my height and age i am suppose to be 125 lbs. Please help me reach my goal!

Weocome to the forum and no worries help is here the breakfast thing you have to fix because eating in the morning starts yiur metabolism for the day and the most efficient way to lose weight is calorie counting use one of the calculators tofind your base metabolic rate and eat 500 less and you'll lose weight simple as that exercise will help speed it up

Read my diary thread and start keeping your own doing something similar to what i'm doing. My thread is called "i'm aiming for 59kg.

I'd give you the long spiel about what i think you should do but i am starting to get tired of the repetition.

I hope you can make some serious changes now because you have your whole life ahead of you and you don't want all the health issues and depression that goes with being so overweight.

Its a lot easier to change your life now but YOU MUST BE WILLING TO MAKE SOME CHANGES. You won't achieve your goal by continuing with your bad eating habits.

I am not saying you have to do it my way or it won't work but i am suggesting you try to follow a few of the things i am doing to get started. You pick which ones. But i'd say definately start by doing something about the organisation of your meals. Do go to having three decent meals a day and a piece of fruit as a snack between meals if you need it. Start doing a bit of exercise, Give up all the rubbish and snacking you are currently doing, Set some rules for yourself in place and take up drinking water regularly throughout the day instead of other sugary or fattenting drinks.
 
Welcome! I am glad you found this forum - I have gotten lots of inspiration from it, and I am sure you will too! Good job on starting - that is often the hardest part.
