Hi everyone!

I have been reading the posts for a while now (lurking) and decided that this would be a good place for me. I have been trying to lose the same 30 pounds for several years now (since 2006) and have lost a few pounds and then regained.

I am taking my new attempt to a new level now, and getting real with myself. I know what to do, I just have to do it.

Hi Stacey, Yes the first useful step is 'getting real'. I find the best way is to remember that you can only gain weight by eating more calories than you use. It's impossible to gain weight if you are burning more calories than you are consuming. No excuses!
