Hello board. I've been browsing around here for about 10 months but I haven't posted until now. I'm newly married and ready to start working out regularly. I have a lot of health issues (fibromyalgia, hypersomnia, asthma, etc) but I'm really trying to do what I can. Right now I'm doing strength training type stuff at home. Things like lunges, sqates, crunches, deadlifts and using hand weights. I'm also trying to walk 30 minutes per day. Once I get into it I'll alternate with jogging. I did this last summer and thought it worked great. I just need to get back into it and let my lungs adjust. I'm very overweight and would be classified as obese. I am 4'9" and 145 lbs. I started gaining weight very rapidly about 5 years ago and haven't been able to lose much since. I'm trying to eat good protein. Cottage cheese, string cheese, almonds, chicken, fish. I do eat healthy but I eat too much and often feel hungry. I also have a sweet tooth for chocolate. At this point I'm not sure if I should focus on losing fat or gaining muscle. I find gaining muscle to be more enjoyable and fulfilling but I would also like to lose a LOT of fat. Guess that is about all I have to say.
