Hello! i'm 16 years old and i decided to try to change my eating habits, as they were really unhealthy!! i ate 4-5 meals a day, 2 of them was stuff with a lot of calories, i just had to change it, and well i started about 3 days ago!
i eat 3 meals a day, no fast food, no soda, nothing like that, and i found lots of stuff that i can eat that had not much calories and that are good in taste, i also started exercising which is not easy cause the last time i worked out was 3 years go :( and everything is just sore and stuff XD, now let me get to the point of this post, i've lost 2-3 kgs(about 4-6 pounds for the fellow americans ^.^) in those 3 days, which i think is extremely unhealthy .-. but i'm not starving myself or anything like that, i'm eating like healthy people should eat!, is it really unhealthy to lose weight this fast and why? and the other thing is i don't wanna end up breaking it! XD so any suggestions for staying motivated and so on
Thank you alot for your replies!

You'll be sore a couple days but you won't be feeling it after a couple days unless you injury yourself. Don't over train. It's likely water weight that you dropped first. I wouldn't worry too much about it honestly. Unless every week you're losing 4-6 pounds. But it also depends on your size. Example, if you're 500 pounds, you're going to lose a lot more. It has to do with weight regain is why it's not suggested to lose that much. Stored as fat even though your eating in a healthy range. But like I said, it's probably water weight, that is the first thing changed when beginning. It probably won't happen that much more in the future. But at 16 your metabolic rate is very high and your body is changing to your new eating habits and lifestyle. Don't worry too much about it, start up a diary in the writing section and never ever think of giving up. You can do this. I believe in you. Let's get you to where you want to be, friend. Welcome to the forum.
