so for the last 3 weeks i have been exercising my arse off and because i dont know how to eat a balanced low calorie meal i am still at the same fat arse weight i was when i started. i have tried researching how to make balanced meals and the internet sites i goto are vague at best, what on earth am i suppose to do? i ride a exercise bike for 30 minutes a day with interval training every 5 minutes. i hit my weights after that until my routine is done yet i am not progressing at all? is there any use to this or should i just quit and continue to be the fat arsehole i have always been?

You definitly should not stop exercising... even if you're not seeing weight loss, you are still getting positive health benefits from exercising regularly. And when you do get your diet under control, you will start to see results much faster when you exercise.

This link has to handouts that are very helpful when figuring out portions and how your plate should be balanced: http://www.diabetes.ca/diabetes-and-you/nutrition/portion-guide/

Another thing you could try is some thing like fitday.com, where you can input everything you eat and it estimates your calorie intake. When you put in your own stats, it gives you the percentages of each nutrient that you should be getting each day, so that you can compare that to what you actually eat. It's a very helpful site, but it can be a bit time consuming at the beginning.
