I baught a brand new scale today a taylor accuracy is the company's modo. Well it says im around 213 which is controdictory to my old scales 215 I know they say never trust scales but im stuborn I weigh myself 3 times a day. Who should i believe I know im losing inches I just dont know what scale to trust

I'm sure you've heard it all before, but screw what the scale has to say. Measurements and how you feel are what really counts.

ditto above...

obsessing over the scale will make you crazy - go look at your pic in your jeans and remind yourself you look dynamite...

so you've got a new scale -it's a different starting point - 2 lbs is really nothing -that's a good pee on some days... don't worry your pretty head about it

A hardcore trainer bodybuilder guy who I get advice from on another forum once told people that they should weigh themselves only once a month as you can then see a huge drop if you've been following your program well and you don't have to deal with scale weighing fluctuation b.s and other frustrations that come from weighing yourself obsessively.

I've come to agree with this man lol.

I just like to wiegh myself to do the same. I like to see that I progressed that day or that week. and if Im doing something wrong I want to change it quickly.

3 times a day is more than a little obsessive... and not good for you -once a day I'll give you is ok - as long as you understand that your weight will fluctuate... and not to let it get you down if it goes up the next day...

oh I know weight fluctuates I go by what I weigh in the morning when I first wake up (after I go to the bathroom) I dont usually get down on myself I have learned (particularly on sat sun mon) after the weekend I go up a little 1-2lbs maybe but by the end of the week im back down. weekends are bad for acouple reasons. if im out with friends temptation is present, at parties, or if I got nothing to do Im bored I eat plus gym is closed sundays and I get off work to late sat to go. Plus I dont really like walking on weekends though I think i'll go for a walk this evening.

Use the scale at your gym, but zero it first. If you don't know how to do it, get one of the people that works there to zero it for you (they get cranky when you jerk with it and don't know what you are doing).
