I am thinking its about time to change, Any suggestions on what i should do next? I have started to take propecia for my hair since i am starting to thin really bad. I only just ****ing turned 18. I am a bit pissed off with my genetics as of late. This propecia blocks a type of testosterone that drys your hair or some crap but is not used in muscle growth that much apparently. Any one used it before?

Here's a link to the Merck site:

That should tell you everything you need to know.

Here's the site for medical professionals:

If it asks you whether you're a medical professional, just say "yes" :)

You can't change your genetics. I know that guys get quite upset when they start losing their hair. But here's a story that might tickle your fancy ;)

A guy at work shaved his head for cancer one year (he was about 28). He didn't want to do it, but it was for a good cause and figured it would grow back in quick enough.

That Friday, he did his usualy thing and went out to a club. Women kept coming up to him and asking if they could touch his head. Lots of women. In fact, he kept his head shaved for quite a long time because of the amount of attention he got with a shaved head. His fiance finally told him to grow his hair back for the obvious reasons. He didn't want to, but eventually did to keep the peace :p

To this day, I still think he looked better with no hair than with hair (BTW, I'm female).
