New player in the weight loss game.

AHello!

I have just begun my weight loss journey although I've needed it for quite some time now. I'm 23 and have been battling obesity for as long as I can remember. I weighed 255 pounds last summer. It's unfortunate that I have never felt as much motivation as I do now. I've met my future husband and not only do I wish to become more physically appealling to him but I want to be a healthy vessel in which to carry our children. He is a bit older than myself and has voiced his concerns about my weight and the amount of time that we will have to wait until I'm at a healthier child-bearing weight. I'm 5'6" and I currently weigh 201 lbs. I was at 193 just recently but I allowed myself to gain it back. I am so dissappointed in myself because our future and happiness is very important to me. I don't know why I've slipped. I am getting used to a new workout and I enjoy feeling good and being able to run longer and faster but I still find it difficult to stay motivated. I'm hoping being a part of a community with people going through similar issues will help me out. So, thats whats going on with me. I really hope to hear from you, thanks for reading!
 
AWelcome! I'm 5'6" and 207, so we're pretty close to the same body type! This place is great for motivation. Everyone is super helpful.
If you haven't done it already, you should start a diary. It helped me out greatly.
