New, needing some encouragment and accountibilty =]

Just wanted to say hello im Lindsey and I have a food problem LOL I started dieting in August I was 233 pounds. No excuses, that was five months past my 2nd childs delivery. I lost 17 pounds in my first month and a half then gained a few and lost a few. I was slacking and that is no good! None of my friends diet they just talk about it. I need some friends to relate to and keep my accountable. I am currently back on a strict diet and once I get to the weight I want i'll loosen up ad keep the lifestyle change. I have lost 16 pounds in two months. I weighed 200 last night. I have "proportional"body fat so I carry weight well, so I've been told. No one would ever guess how hefty I am! lol Will be posting pics asap.

There is lots of great information in the nutrition and exercise sections.

The challenges and clubs are great ways to meet and get to know lots of people...

Then you can visit individual people in their diaries and see what they are doing and chat when in there - maybe offer a word of encouragement... By setting up your own diary - people may visit you too - and with luck they will chat.
 
You sound like you have a great start already! I just joined this past week and have already gotten plenty of tips from other members and joined a team challenge for support. I definitely suggest being active here and you'll find encouragement and helpful suggestions from other members.

I too can use a little support. I have put on a lot of weight, partly because of meds I take and partly because of just me. I have not had the guts to weigh myself yet.....too afraid. I just want to tell I know where you are coming from and I believe we can do this. Keep the faith!
