I just had my second child 3 weeks ago. I was fortunate in having a good body when I got pregnant. I gained all of 16 pounds while I was pregnant, but was put on pelvic rest during the pregnancy, which meant, no exercising throughout.
At my first post-partum checkup last week, I found out I'm only 2 pounds over my pre-preggo weight (132 now at 5'5). I'm not too concerned about my weight, but as every new mom knows, I've got that awful baby belly.
Not to mention, since I had the baby, my diet has gone way out the window. It was like I suddenly felt freedom in not having to watch everything I put in my body. It doesn't help that Halloween has passed and I have a bag full of candy just screaming my name....my three year old is much too young to be eating that candy!
So...yeah....I need to get my body back....and my willpower!
