Hi I am new here. I am just starting my 4th 90 day challenge with body by vi. I lost 24 lbs on my first challenge which I started in September. I have kept it off thru my third challenge. My cholesterol dropped fro 220 to 183 in 2 months on the challenge. The Dr. said if I lose 10 more lbs I can go off my blood pressure medication. That's my goal for this challenge to drop to 178 lbs and get off the med. I have stepped up my work outs to include a couple days of running (jogging) with the run 5k app that is free. It tells you when to walk and when to run so it makes it easier. I am not a natural runner.

Awesome job!! You got this!! That is one thing that I am determined to do. Help those with high blood pressure because of added weight see the difference in their lives. Im in the medical field and see this as a daily problem. You are doing great keep it up!!

Welcome to the forum.

Congratulations on your weight loss so far. Getting off the blood pressure medication is a wonderful incentive for losing (and keeping off) the next 10 pounds. I am a firm believer in splitting up the project into lots of little milestones... Its great that you are building up your exercise. Lots of people here have built up their running with the couch to 5k program.

I suggest that you read the following thread - it may help you settle in and make friends here

Good luck with your project.
