Hello from the Northwest. I am 60 years old and we live out in the country, quite a few miles from the nearest town. I received information yesterday from my doctor that my triglycerides were up as high as 457. (She also said my blood sugar was elevated and that I needed to loose quite a bit of weight.) In 2010 my triglycerides were just above the normal range. Since then I've had a par-thyroid operation and a few heart problems.

I need to change my eating habits and get on a good exercise program. I started on my change of eating habits yesterday and today I started exercising by walking for 30 minutes. I look forward to learning from all of you the best ways to loose weight, exercise and to lower my triglycerides.
