Hello all, my name is Josh and I am 28 years old. I have currently decided that enough is enough and to get back into shape and start working out again. I am 5"7' 200 lbs or 170 cm and 91 Kg or there about. I have decided to eventually get P90X or Insanity or maybe both, but before I go all hardcore I am reducing my caloric intake (slightly) and eating 5 small meals per day rather than 3 regular meals and NO snacks in between (sample meal would be a 1/4 cup grilled chicken with 1 cup romaine lettuce and oil and vinegar for dressing lightly salted and with black pepper or 1/2 cup cottage cheese and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter). I have completely cut out soda and sweet tea and stick mainly to water, milk, and gatorade (mostly water). As far as my workouts I am jogging aprox 1 mile per day along with 50 crunches (2 sets), and burnout on overhead butterfly presses with 5 lb dumbbells (2 sets). I am currently taking soy protein powder with 8 oz of regular milk 1x per day as one meal, one a day energy multivitamins, and glucosamine/chondroitin supplements as well. I also am taking Hydroxycut (only for 1 month) I have never really been big on the fad diets and I am using it to help me boost my energy levels for temporary after that I am stopping. I was in the military and I do know how to exercise properly and I stretch before and after each workout that I do to make sure that I don't mess up any of my muscles or sprain anything. At work I usually walk about 4-5 miles per day 5 days a week as I have a supervisory job and have little time to stay seated. Is there anything else I should be doing?

btw my goal is to get to 150-160 lbs and only to tone up so I know that using P90X or Insanity will get me there but I think that it would just be too hard to just go for it to begin with and start with a moderate exercise program and I do this 3 days skip a day the repeat as far as how often I exercise but my meals stay the same i allow myself 1 bad for you food per month so that way i don't just go binge on bad foods as well.
