New member, trying to get in shape.

I've been putting off getting into shape for a while... I'm not sure how best to go about it, so I'm mostly going to do what I used to when I was almost in shape...

I've decided that I'm going to do about 2 hours of running one day, followed by light exercise, then the next day an hour of running and no exercise or very light cardio/aerobics, and then the next day an hour of running and heavy/vigorous exercise. I'm not really sure how much it'll actually help, but it's got to be better than nothing.

In the meantime, anyway; I just want to lose the extra fat I have, then I'll start building my body to how I want it; abs and legs first, then chest and arms or something, I dunno...

If anyone has any tips or recommendations, I'd appreciate all the help. Thanks.
