Hello Everyone,

I just recently joined this forum and I am excited about being here. I have recently began my journey to better health and fitness. I am 45 years old and I am in no where near the shape I want to be in and know that I can be in. My goal is only to lose about 10lbs, but I want to lose 20 lbs of fat and replace it with 10lbs of muscle. Another goal is to finally see my abs. I chose P90X as my vehicle for this journey. :driving: I starting my third week of the P90X and I am very excited about posting my before and after pictures. About my background, I used to own a gym, was membership services manager for a health club and a manager of a Worlds Gym. I left the fitness industry after managing the Worlds Gym for only a short time, because I really hated the way most commercial gyms were operated. I became a bar manager and thats when my fall from fitness began. Too many late nights and too much bar food. I still manage a bar, but when my fitness levels are where I want them to be I will start doing personal training again and hopefully compete in a bodybuilding competition. I do have limitations because I broke my back in a car accident years ago and certains things my body will just not allow me to do, but I realize those limitations and find a way to work around them.
