I recently found out the power carb loading will give you. I've been devouring good carbs and the strength gains are incredible. I can't believe I just found this out also.
I was doing decline bench at my house and got 245 up for 2 reps. I know thats not a lot for you short guys but cut me some slack. Thats 25 lbs more than my current body weight.
The other day I was doing squats in the gym too. I've always been scared to max out on squats because of my lack of experience. All my prior reps had flawless form and I worked my way up to 325 for 8 reps so I figured what the hey, I got the energy right now. I did 365 for 3 reps.
Squats get a little scary when you see the bar flexing under the weight. But it's so cool!
I can't wait to squat 400.
