Please list your start weight and maybe a personal goal of your own if you want. The challenge ends on 3/15, so weigh in and post that morning (not 3 dys later)

The only rule we have is that you post at least every 3 dys. On the 4th day w/ no post, your team can vote you off. This is to incase someone joins and later decides to "forget it" and it prevents your team from getting a 0 loss for anyone who abandons the team. If voted off, the team member does not count towards end amt of lost weight.

Ok guys, I think we can take this thing no problem. Welcome to the forum Jasminesmommma, and elizab3th. I have been mostly hangin out in my diary since I joined, but this challenge looked too fun to pass up. Anyway, my start weight is 232. My goal is to get down 8 lbs by march 15th to 224. I do a pretty low calorie diet and exercise for 1-1 ½ hours a day, mostly elliptical. This week may be a little tough for me so I need something more for the motivation. Tonight Im going to a drug rep dinner/presentation and the food is high quality, quantity, and free. Don’t worry though, Ill get through it. Im also going home this next weekend…always a challenge. So lets here about what your goals, methods and challenges are for the next 2 weeks. :cool:

Here's the stats - 5'2" - 166 lbs. My goal is 120. So I'm far from it right now but that's okay. I don't exactly have a set in stone plan other than the fact that I will work out atleast 5 times a weeks and cut out all fatty, sugar, useless foods that I love. I know we can do it ladies, everybody's got to keep their head up. If you ever feel like falling know we're here for you and we support you. Come check out my diary too sometimes..

Im glad both of you posted tonight. Welcome to the winning group sweetgal! How was the run with your dog Elizab3th? OH, BTW, me and troutman are guys...lol. ("I know we can do it ladies"). Anyway, the new loosers should have been called the biggest loosers cause thats what were going to be! :cool:

Weigh-in today - 225.75
Goal 10 lbs. by the 15 Th. I haven't been doing 5 Lbs. a week so its a big goal.

Had a good day. Stayed within my calorie range 1,500. Did my 4 mile run, a new record for me :rolleyes: 44:42. :cool: That makes 11:10 A mile. I think pretty good for a guy my size. I was not even trying to go faster, it was a surprise when I was done. I've been thinking of upping my mileage. Since I like to exercise for about an hour, I don't have a choice. It was a nice day here in the high desert, no wind blowing, so maybe that made the difference.


Were going to have to show those other groups how to lose weight.
 
Hey Troutman, good job on the running. Im starting to push running into my workout again. 2-3 weeks ago my back really hurt after running so I stopped...figuring I was still too top heavy. But around 220 is when I want to be running 4 miles/day so Im slowly adding it back. Today I ran 0.5 miles...as I did the last 3 days after working out on the elliptical for 1 hour. I wish I could be hitting four miles/day like you...Im a runner too, I dont know why Im having a tough time with injury. I keep getting blisters when I run. No back/knee pain though. Next week I might bump it up to 1 mile.

My Mother came to my house this morning with Krispy Kreme doughnuts for my Husband, who BTW can eat anything he wants and stay the same weight always.. Anyhoo I am proud of myself I had an egg white veggie omlet with 1 piece of whole wheat toast.. I also wanted to note that I walked only 1 mile last night on my treadmill and worked out for 45 minutes, doing the works and when I was done I felt exhausted...Shower then bed for the night... I hope that I can do 2 miles today and longer workout, but I find it really hard sometimes with a 5 month old baby boy needing my attention always not to mention my daughter who is out of school for the whole week due to mardi gras and lent.. It is a beautiful day today I just might take them to the park which is right next to my house for a nice walk.. I hope everyone can stick together and make it to their goals!! I need all the pushing and support I can get because of the trip I will take this summer to Europe.. OH yeah btw my Mother says its ok to eat the doughnut as long as you do not sit on it, she means walk around the house and move around blah blah blah lol.. She is old school and thinks this way its understandable.. There is 200 cal 22 carb 12 fat in one glazed doughnut, so I would rather have alot more for the 200/22/12 than 1 sec of indulgence (even its so good) ...
I will check in later guys I know I type alot but I have to the baby is sleeping now and its my chance to have free time.. :)

Good job jasminesmomma. I do not take any pills, I was trying green tea pills for a bit for appetite supression and stuff, but I ran out and I didnt see too much effect from it anyhow, now I take garlic and niacin for cholesterol and calcium and a multivitimin. Im not much of a medication type person, but I started taking these to see what it was like to have to take pills every day....it sucks. My plan of attack is simply low cal + lots of aerobic + 2-3 days/wk lifting. I eat small quantity all day to keep sugars/insulin low and metabolism up. Keep up the good work! :cool:
 
JasminesMomma, Hi glad to have you on our team. I don't take any diet pills. I do take a multivitamin. If there was a pill that worked I would have been all over it. Now I have come so far on my own, if there was one I don't think I would take. But who knows. I have about 1,200 - 1,700 calories a day. I try to keep it at 1,500 calories. I run 4 miles a day, going up to 5 miles sometime this week. I run at least 5 times a week, I never miss running 2 days in a row (almost never).

200 Days

I started my 2 Week Diet Plan 200 days ago. I've learned a lot. It you want to find out in deal about my 200 days I will be posting on my diary later tonight. For my 200 days I celebrated today. For Lunch I went to Jack In The Box for lunch. I had a Ultimate Cheeseburger, Curly Fries, & a Large Strawberry Milkshake. Wow it was great. For dinner we went to a great buffet here in town. I had about 4,500 calories. So good I could not begin to tell you. Just kidding, I had about 1,300 calories today. To celebrate my 200 days I did a 10K (6.2 Miles). Ran the whole way except this big hill I could only run 1/2 the way up. Had to walk back down also, have to be careful of the knees at might weight. My time was 1:17:23. The first time I did 4 miles my time was 1:23:00. Of course that was walking & I could barley do it.

Hope were all going to be showing the other teams how this is done.

I always like Fridays I dont know why just do.. Anyhoo just wanted to check in on everyone and say hope the weekend goes smoothly, I will check in tonight after I have done the daily routine.. I have attached a pic for my baby, he is 5 months old now, and I have my daughter (Jasmine) who is 10..
Keep up the good work and spirits everyone..

Hi Team, I hope your all eating healthy, I know I am. If your not eating healthy enjoy it, with no guilt. Ran 2 mile today in the rain. Stayed within my calories.
I got to go to fishing show today. I live to :) fish :cool: so it was awesome. I played today so I work tomorrow.

Hey guys, Im here at home with all my family in temptation land. But yesterday I did awesome, my wife and the kids went to the gym together...thats never happened. My goal for this weekend is to lose weight here, which has also never happened. I will be moving back in less than 2 months so I need to be able to do well here. I stayed well within my calories. My weight has really been holding this last week, but I finaly dropped a pound as of this morning! I was pretty pleased with that. Today and tomorrow will be the real challenge because we are going hang out with my sister and she loves ruining diets. But Im feeling confident I will be able to thwart her evil plans.
Jasmine is very cute, The hat is a very nice touch. Keep it up everybody. :cool:
