Hi, everyone. This forum caught my attention and seems like a wonderful support system. I've always felt in pretty good shape, but the scale and tape tell me something different. When my doctor told me I was a walking time bomb for heart problems with high blood pressure and skyrocketing cholesterol, it's been a real wake up call. I'm 5'8. weigh 174, and work out several times a week with pilates and bike riding--- in addition to my golf!!
Seriously, I need to loose about 20lbs from the midsection, and need the challenge of someone else helping monitor my progress. Spouse is wonderful person, but inadvertently sabotages efforts.
