New Kid on the Block saying Hello

I am a new kid on the block. I join this forum because I am keen to improve my health, lose some fat, eat better, and perhaps put on some muscles.

I am 46, male. A few months back, my wife and I decided that we both have put on some weight since getting married some years ago. So we are looking to improve our diet and health. Thank you for having me in this forum.

What strategies do you plan to use to help you lose weight?

I'd recommend having a look around the stickied posts in the subforums for valuable information on how to go about this, and then looking at the weight loss diaries for ideas on how other people are going about this.
 
Welcome Tim! You have came to the right place for like minded people. I know what you are saying because that weight can sneak up on you over the years...if you are not careful.

Make sure that you visit frequently because their are plenty of good useful tips on here.

I am trying to eat more meals per day. Instead of three, I am trying to make it four or five small-size meals per day. Also, I am watching the amount of carbohydrate I am taking in.

One day a week (Saturday), my wife and I eat anything we want, but the rest of the week, we try to observe our regime.
