Hello everyone! I was posting about my weight loss progress on another board, that actually is not based on fitness/weight loss and I think I burned everybody out! So I did a quick search for a forum where people would expect to hear me drone on about my weight loss progress, and here I am.
I'm a 5 ft 10 female, going from 164 lbs (3 weeks ago) to 145 lbs eventually. I've lost 9 lbs already. I'm highly active and am training for several ultra-distance events, so it's tricky for me to strike a balance between getting enough carbs to refuel my glycogen stores, and not eating too much to impede my weight loss goals.
I didn't look 'fat' at 164, since I'm tall, but I felt so heavy and kinda looked a bit too fridge-like for my liking.
I'm looking forward to posting and reading about everybody else's progress and challenges. I've strayed into binge-eating in the past but this time I think I have a handle on it. Probably because I'm staying around 1,600 to 1,800 cals a day and don't get overly hungry.
