New Here! Questions? Help!!!

I've been lurking this board for awhile and decided to join. I have a few questions. First I want to say you guys are really inspirational. I love this board. About me: I am 25, 220lbs. 5'4 I just gave birth 2 months ago to twins and was on strict bedrest for most of my pregnancy so I am a beginner. I have an elliptical and ab lounge but I've been reading alot about strength and endurance. What are some regimens I can do at home as a beginner along with elliptical and ab training? I've also read where you should do your cardio before your strength training... is this right? How long should you strength train and how many times a week for best results? Also what kind of results have you seen with an elliptical? Ab Lounge? Thank you all in advance.
