NEW HERE... Need Advice

Well.. I'm New to this site, and i really dont like reading long articles about weight loss. So i figured i'd ask those who know what works and what doesn't.

Basically I hate to exercise! Before I never had to. After i had my daughter my body was not the same, as everyone knows. But that was 6 years ago. I gained 30 lbs in the last 4 months. annnnd quite frankly this is the highest i've ever been!!

So I joined my local Y. I've been going to the gym for the last week. I work out for about an hour or hour and a half. I've been in there all week and plan on going tomorrow morning. My plan is to work out 5 times during the week.

ok so here's the question or questions i should say...

First,

How much cardio do i have to do to lose 30lbs? and how often?

Second,

Why do i feel Like I'm starving after i work out? and what should i treat myself to to stop the cravings?

Third,

how long before i see results?? lol


oh and if u guys can give me any other advice for me.. it would be greatly appreciated :)

First, you'd probably be better off mixing strength training and cardio.

Second, chances are you're not taking in enough calories to support your workout. Contrary to intuition, you need to eat to lose weight.

Third, that depends on how smart, hard and often you work out, and what your food plan is.
