New here, looking to keep the momentum up!

Hi, everybody, I'm Alyssa :) 21 years old from Michigan.
I have been arguably overweight since I was about 11.

I signed up with Weight Watchers on June 26, 2010 at 268.6 pounds.
I have decided that I won't be able to pay for a membership anymore, and went to my last WW weigh-in this morning -- at 208.6 pounds!

It feels really great to have lost 60 pounds in 4 and a half months, but I feel now more than ever that I need to find little ways to keep up my weight loss, because I am no longer accountable for an official weigh-in (a big part of what I feel initially motivated me). I'm hoping this place can be one of those means of keeping it up.

I look forward to getting to know everyone and hearing everyone's stories!
 
Hi and welcome. There are places here you can post your weight. You can also start a weight dairy. Just keep doing what you've been doing with your weight loss and account ot all of us here!
 
that is truly amazing! losing 60 pounds in a YEAR is really awesome but to do it in
4 months well!!! u r right tho, now is when you need to keep the small, daily
changes happening! every day, incorporate a new, small change in your eating habits or your exercise schedule or better yet, both.
If you are feeling lonely or don't think you can pass up that ....whatever it is you crave,
sit down at the computer and write to us here FIRST...we can help and we CAN keep you accountable but you will have to be really honest with us....
One tip you may enjoy using every day, several times a day...look at yourself in the
mirror and say " I LOVE YOU!"nope not kidding...it is hard to do but you need to LOVE yourself just the way you are and this simple little trick tells your subconscious brain (98% of everything you are comes from the sub brain...) that you do love yourself and it will make this journey much much easier.

How amazing! Congratulations. You should feel so proud of yourself! I'm just starting out on my weight loss journey. I'm hoping to lose 100 pounds. You give me inspiration! Keep up the great work and keep us posted! I'm documenting my journey on an online diary. (REMOVED) Maybe we can become weightloss buddies!
