Hello everyone,
I'm new here, but not new to weight training.
I'm 46yrs old and I've been back in the gym now going on one year...after about a 20yr sittin on my duff...becoming a fat butt, sebatical!
I re-entered the gym a year ago at 265lbs...sloppy and soft. I'm at 225lbs now and just now starting to see the old me. Unfortunately at 46 it's REAL hard to build muscle.
I trained seriously when I was in my 20's, and to say the least it was a lot easier at that age! My routine(3sets 10reps) bench was 225lbs...routine squat was 315lbs and now I'd be lucky to push one rep at 185lbs on either exercise! Man! It's hell gettin old....
Anyway, you guys got any advice for an old man trying to rebuild and save what's left of a tired but still kinda there hard body?
Thanks
