Hello everyone!
I'm so glad I found a forum for weight loss. I've searched before and never found anything. I'm 21 and recently moved to California. I have a lot of weight to lose. I've always been heavy since I was about 8 years old. During junior high and high school is when it got bad. Now I weight about 255lbs and I am 5'6. I've always tried to go on diets or exercise, but never kept to it. I guess I was really in denial about how heavy I was, because I didn't feel that I was that heavy. Well, about a month ago I started feeling it. I was always tired and it seemed harder to get up. I decided this past week that I definitely have to do something about this. I've recently changed my eating habits and I've gone to the gym a few times. I must say that I feel a lot better after having walked 2.5 miles. I had more energy and wasn't tired anymore. In the past I never really had any support and would let myself go if I didn't see progress soon enough. I understand that it takes time now and if I don't do it now then I will probably never make it to my goal. My long term goal is to be 125 -130. I think that I can make it with the support on this site. Wow, this intro was a long one. Hope to talk to many of you and hear about your success and hard work!
