Good Life Tour

New here, and 50 pounds lighter w/ pics!

Little back history....
Pretty much my whole adolescent and adult life I've been overweight.
I'm 27 now, and about a year ago I decided to cut all the crap out of my diet.
I would drink 2-4 x-large dunkin donuts coffee's a day...light and sweet! {FACEPALM}
First I cut all the sugar out, and now pretty much only have a small coffee or espresso in the morning, any more than 1 cup i start getting caffeine headaches.

I also cut out fast food entirely and I mean entirely.
I havent added any exercise to my routine. After work I'm pretty much exausted at the end of the day.

On to the pics.

Haha thanks...Honestly I dont work out at all, but my job includes alot of manual work/ lifting (machinist)
I'm not actually on a diet per say, I made a lifestyle change. Esp after watching Super Size Me, and various youtube vids showing how bad McD's fries are and how they dont break down at all (who wants that in them?)

Plus with diabetes, heart disease, and cancer rampant in my family history, I figured if I dont make a change now, It will be alot harder to do if I wait another 5-10 years.

Plan now is to enjoy my vacation with friends in DR in 4 weeks, And finally be 100% comfortable with myself with no shirt on which I have never been.

That's great! You should be very proud!

I think the key to successful LONG TERM weight loss, is what you did - make a lifestyle change!

Dieting can work in the short-term, but it can be hard to keep it up once you reach your goal! And it's just like exercising...unless you make a regular work out part of your routine, then it's hard to keep it up!

Congrats to you again! And enjoy your trip - it's well deserved!! :)

**and there will TOTALLY be some strutting of stuff down in the DR!!! And so there should be!! You look great!! Let the ladies drool sir!**

Well done!

How tall are you?
I'm 6' tall

Hahahaha thanks!

The changes you've made have really paid off eh, well done on the progress you've made, such a fantastic transformation.

Thanks everyone...Besides from getting out of this artic hell that we are in, what I'm looking forward to is more weight loss when I'm in DR. Even tho its all inclusive, all the food is fresh real food and you stay active all day.

That's great that you found a resort in the DR that offers you fresh healthy food!

To be honest, I mostly have liquid food in the DR with tiny little umbrellas! :)

Do you have a work out plan when you return?

You're doing great- and I love that you're motivated to keep going!

I'm probably going to do a half hour each day, alternating locations everyother day (chest/arms/back..etc..)
Actually I'm not a big drinker, never was. I prefer a non-poisonous substance :) lol
