I've decided to get rid of the extra weight, last year I lost 30 lbs, but then I guess I plateaud and stopped trying to lose anymore, well now I'm going to reach my ultimate goal of at least 115 lbs, I plan to achieve this by May 15, 2008, here are my horrible NOW pictures:

Hey there, and welcome to the forums. You look good now, and I bet you will be smoking when its all said and done. I suggest checking this section out every few days to see peoples transformations for motivation. Remember one meal at a time and if you mess up just keep walking forward. Goodluck.

You look so cute and adorable now.

As the previous poster said, you will be smoking hot when you reach your goal. :)

Thanks! I think my only problems are dinner and weekends, during the day I am very good about controlling my portions and eating healthy but during dinner I tend to derail and also weekends are horrible for me since the family always wants to eat out or go to places where I get too much temptation and give in. I have been very inspired by the before and afters of so many people I am going to really buckle down hard this time and try to be a motivator for others. Thank you for your support!

Welcome to the forum! :)

Definitely stop being hard on yourself.... you have a fantastic starting point and you'll only get better from here on out.

You say you have problems with temptation at dinner and on the weekends. Maybe you should try planning out things a bit more? You don't have to eat terrible foods, especially on the weekends. You just have to find a way to moderate consumption.

Hello and welcome!
You do not look horrible at all! There are many of us on here who can't wait until we look as slender as you currently do. That said, you certainly came to the right place for support as you work towards your weight loss goal.

I found that with tweaking my "dinners out" I have been able to still go with my family and enjoy our meal time. Avoid cream sauces and too much garlic bread. Only have diet soda or water for drinking. My cardinal rule is to NEVER finish my meal; they give such huge portions these days! I eat 1/3 to 1/2 and take the rest home for next day or to give to my DH.

HTH and best wishes on your journey!
Cheers from :eh:

I think I'll try planning my meals for dinner and weekends, one of the problems for dinner is that my boyfriend basically eats regular food and I cook it so I guess I eat what he is eating out of lazyness to cook a whole different meal for myself, I've found that if I buy Lean Cuisine meals for dinner every night of the week it really helps, and on weekends say I do go out and eat I will try to plan ahead, I found a really good website that lists basically most of the nutritional facts of most restaurants, I thought I might share it with the rest of you:
