New & Have A Few Questions

Well im new to this i was what i thought fit about three years ago im 21 right now about 5'5 well back 3 years ago i thought well im going to put on some weight as i only came in at 135 lbs well i got hooked on eating and well long story short i now weight around 185 i really want to tone down my fat and cut so i have been dieting just started this is my first week any ideas on how i can cut?? also about how long into the diet should i start on streinght training work on my arms chest and back as of right now im am just jogging about a hour a day well thanks any info would help sorry if im not clear on explaining if i missed something let me know i am really new at this
 
Work out your maintennence number of calories per day - knock off 500, that'll lose you a pound a week.

Keep doing weights, keep a high protein level in your diet, do HIIT 2-3 times a week.
