I'm Semper. I am a college student, and ROTC Midshipmen entering the United States Marine Corps. I am relatively new to "working out", only in the last 4 months have I given a thought towards physical fitness and started exercising regularly. Though I am relatively new to the world of fitness, I do have access to enough resources that have made me quite proficient in the subject.
I joined this forum because it was one of the better fitness based forums I've found. I wanted to join a community to discuss fitness, diet, exercise to better my knowledge in the subject, help others, and keep general motivation high.
More about me: I believe a responsible human being should be constantly striving to better themselves physically, mentally, and emotionally. I am starting to get into testing my fitness through sport; distance running, obstacle racing, mud running, adventure racing, mountain climbing/hiking, etc. And I like being part of an active community, so hopefully I'll enjoy myself here.
