Hi guys, I have been observing this forum for a while and thought it was time I posted some of my own pictures and hopefully a success story soon. I am a 30 yr old male who has been active in sports and activities all through my life. However, I have battled my weight since about age 14 or so. Most of the unwanted weight is do to un-healthy eating/drinking habits. If genetics can be a cause for weight issues that too can be at blame here as well.
November of 2007 I made a change in my life. I moved to a new city, started a new job, and made a change in my eating habits along with adding regular work outs to my weekly/daily routines. I was at my heaviest weight of 233 in November. I started to go to the gym and work out throughout the week and started selecting a healthier diet. It was probably the beginning of December when I got into full swing.
Thus far it has been a slow process but very rewarding. I did not set a weight goal. I just knew I wanted to lose weight and be healthy. I do weigh myself time to time but for the most part I gauge my progress by what I see in the mirror. As of the end of April I weighed in at about 205lbs give or take. So about a 30lbs weight loss.
I did not plan on documenting this journey so I do not have really any pics that measure my success. I have found pictures of me taken by friends at different times before and during this transformation. I will post what I have and will try to document pics better from now on.
