So I just joined this forum today, and have been looking at the before and afters which are really inspirational.
I'm Kailey, I'm about to be 19. I have lost some weight in the past year, 34 pounds to be exact I started at 170 and currently weigh 136. My original goal was 120 but I may have to revise it, as I feel like just 15 pounds will not get rid of all my unwanted fat, but Ill just have to see when I get there. I'm quite short 5'2 and contrary to what I used to think I actually do have quite a small frame. Anyways I lost the first 25 pounds by doing 1 thing only, that is drinking water, I used to drink lots of juice and soda everyday and I cut that out and I slowly lost 25 pounds (it took about 5 months) I recently joined the gym and got myself a trainer who has given me a diet and exercise regime and have lost another 9 pounds so far, I'm almost there and I'm really happy so far :)

Congratulations on your weight loss success. Just keep in mind that you're still a teen so you may still be growing - you may not want to restrict your calorie intake too much. :) Just a suggestion. Cutting out the soda is wonderful and I'm proud of you for being able to do that! It can be a difficult thing because our bodies can build up an addiction to caffeine and sugar.

Great work! And welcome to the site! I hope you find it as helpful as I have. :D
