New found determination!

This is like many others, not my first time losing weight! I joined a gym when I was still in high school and dropped to a fairly toned 11 and a half stone.
Then.. again like many others(!) I indulged a liiiittttlllee too much at university. Living away from home... eating at crazy hours of the evening and doing absolutely ZERO exercise made my weight skyrocket up to 19 stone.
You can only imagine the strain of putting on almost 8 stone in 3 years..
I developed sleep apnoea, glandular fever, a string of coughs and colds and a recurring knee pain.

So. Last summer after graduating and moving home, I rejoined the same gym, shed 2 stone fairly quickly with little effort and then due to financial difficulties had to leave. The 2 stone came rushing back as quickly as it left and now I'm roughly 18 and a half stone.

Although my sleep apnoea has more or less disappeared since I've had a regular sleeping pattern again, I'm determined to shed this weight and feel better about myself. My goal is to reach a BMI of 24 which would mean shedding 8 and a half stone. I hope by joining this site I can encourage others with the same goals as me :)

GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!!!!

Thanks for the welcome :)
Well so far I've been doing laps of my garden each morning, I'm starting slow then eventually I'll build up to go round my local park.
I used to run a lot when I was younger so I know I can get back to that stage again! Other than that I really don't eat badly nowadays, just a little over-indulgence in carbs from time to time!
