Hi Everyone,
I'm new to this site, and hoping for a few postitve thoughts because I'm feeling discouraged today. I began my new lifestyle late in February, my starting weight was 206. I quit smoking (with the exception of a few Friday nights), same with beer. I've been eating better and keeping my caloric intake at 1400 or less. I joined a gym and use it 3 day's a week. If I don't go to the gym I use a video in my home. I take one day a week to do nothing. I lost 18 pounds, and now the scale will not move. I will admit, however, I do have a cheat day. I will have some pizza or my favorite food in the whole world....Kung Po Chicken. I have found that I am having a hard time finding a balance between strength training and cardio. I love the feel of the new muscles I have, but the cardio helps me shed the pounds faster. I will not give up, but I thing I just need to know there are people out there just like me.
Thanks!!!!!!
