Hello everyone.

I figured I'd just say hi and introduce my-self.

I'm a 25 year old Police officer living/Working in a small rural vilage in New Brunswick Canada. I live alone and work long hours (Making meals a challenge) I've been with the force for almost 3 years now and since joining, have gained almost 20 lbs. I joined this forum because I have very little in the way of knowledge about weight loss. I have never had to worry about it until this year really. Now it seems I let it go too far. I recently purchased a home gym and am trying to get into the habit of using it. I have been trying to watch what I eat, cutting out colas and chips (well, I still make nachos once a week or so and have the baked lays when I eat at subway) I've been eating alot of salmon lately and those frozen lean cuisine dinners. I'm not at all sure I am doing the right things.. I feel like I'm still getting bigger. At 6' 205 lbs I'm not huge, but I have gone from a size 34 ( which I wore since highschool) To a tight 36... just in the last 6 months. Not good. I don't know why because I haden't changed my lifestyle... until about 3 weeks ago. I am horrible at anything wieght related because I want to see results right away... but I know that doesn't happen. I just feel lost when it comes to eing in shape. I'll be looking around here for tips.

Hopefully, I'll be a success story! I sure am going to try!
