Hey Guys!!

Enough is enough!! I have ballooned to 266lb's and i am so not happy with the way i am living my life. Its time for a major change!!

I'm 19, a university student and from Plymouth UK. At my lowest weight i was 150lb's - that is my ultimate goal. I have set my self a target of (wait for it ...) August 2008!!! Crazy i know but i'm trying to be realistic as i have 116lb's to lose!! eeek! :eek:

I'll write my goals down in a bit but for the minute a bit about my eating habbits; I'm addicted to food!

It's sad to say it but i honestly think i am. I'm always thinking what i'm going to have for my next meal, i even plan what me and the bf are going to have meal wise on the weeknds! My eating is out of hand. I know all the good stuff to eat, i know what foods to avoid as my body can't burn them off quick enough, but those are the foods i crave the most.

My weakness's are toast with lavishes of butter and crisps! Although i have done well so far this week, not had one crisp and only one serving of toast but i cut down on having so much butter on the bread & realised it tastes just as good!! :D

I am now determined to get to my ultimate goal of 150lb's and im hoping with some help from this forum i can eventually do it!


My Goals:

1.Be 256lbs by 31st Jan - 1st weigh in day (Loss of 10lb's)
I dont want to weigh myself everyweek as this will only discourage me by
me thinking "oh i've lost x amount of weight ill have some bad food"

2. Be Atleast 224lb's (16st) by May 5th - Weeks holiday (Total loss of 42lb's)
Hopefully i'll be going on holiday to Newquay with my bf and a few mates
Don't want to be a full on beach whale!

3. Be Atleast 210lb's (15st) By July 23rd - Weeks Holiday (Total Loss of 56lbs)
Hopefully this holiday will be with my bf to a couple of the theme parks
around the UK. I wana fit in the seats comfortably!!


Those are my goals for the first half of this yearl. Hopefully it will become a reality. I'm aiming for a total weight loss of 56lb's (4st) by July 23rd 2007!!

I CAN DO IT!!! :cool:
 
You have the right attitude...I so love toast with lots of butter, LOL and jam...yum and peanut butter, LOL...If you want support i am here to give it...I will check on you regularly as long you as keep this diary in circulation :D:D:D

Your goals look great and having a plan of action in place is a way to make sure you reach your goals :)

Yesterday was a bad day as i had not one, but two!! bags of crisps :( and a diet coke and a powerade!! lol Anybody know how bad these drinks are for ya?

Anyways just wanted to rant cuz i feel bad for eating them crisps but today will be a better day. And the most challenging of all, the weekend. First weekend on the diet and i think im guna struggle, so no doubt i'll be popping in here with just a one liner saying something stupid like i want chocolate lol just to get my mind off it! :cool:

Anyways, think i may put some pics in here so ya all have a better idea of my size etc.

Diet Coke isn't technically "bad" for you, I don't think. The amount some people drink is, yes, and some of the stuff in it (sweetener stuff) is questionable, but one isn't going to hurt you. It's calorie free!
 
Calorie free - true!! lol i was worried about all the sweetners. I just cant get into water at the moment so am drinking juice and fizzy drinks :S which probably isnt helping. lol Anybody know how to post pics in here?
 
Ya dont beat yourself up over that diet coke...just everyhitng else...LOL...kidding, you knwo you did wrong now just correct it tomorrow and so on, I will pop by latta...have a good day and a healthy weekend
