New day new beginning

Well today has started out good.

5:30 am woke up went for a jog.

Breakfast: 2 scramb. eggs
2 slices of ham
18oz of water

lunch i brought a broccoli salad with half the amount of dressing normally used

Snack: for throughout the day straberries mixed in with yogurt.

My challenge will be dinner last night i had a large smoothie that i blended together it was good but i need some meat today!!!

It's now 7:44 and i am at work.. i am feeling good though because i went for a jog this morning. I find that when i work out in the mornings it helps motivate me to stay on track the rest of the day...

I was proud of myself last night. It was raining outside and instead of not doing anything i went into the basement and went on the treadmill!!!

How are your days going?
 
Sounds like you're getting off on the right foot (pun intended). You should totally be proud of yourself!!! I really should try to exercise in the morning too. How 'bout this, if you go running in the morning, I'll go ride my bike too?? :)

as long as you don't eat a gallon of it - hummus has about 30 - 50 calories in a tablespoon.. plus it's got fiber and protein in it... and it tastes great...

I love it as a dipper for celery sticks... and a tablespoon is more than enough for a bout a cup of celery sticks
 
CBL, I LOVE hummus as a dip AND as a sandwich spread (instead of mayo). I have to make my own though b/c most commercial brands are LOADED with fat and cals so you really have to be careful how much you eat - I just can't control myself when I start in on it so I had to learn a low fat version :eek:

Great job on the exercise! Wonderful food choices too :D
