Hi all, I am Anne.
I hated most of college. Stress caused me to gain weight and I had a really bad time over all because there was a lot of death. At least one person each year I was in college died that I cared about, and one year my fiance's grandpa AND my dog died. I used to be 125 lbs, and just a few months ago I was 193.5 lbs.
My best friend moved to the East Coast in early 2012, the same week my grandfather passed. She kept telling me about this book I should buy, but I shrugged it off and said to myself "I want to eat real food".
Well, she was right. I gave Dr. Abravanel's Body Type Diet a try and now I have lost 32 lbs. since July 10th. I am the thyroid type, so I had to give up A LOT of food I love, including coffee. Currently, there are about 8 things I am not tired of yet: skim milk, almonds, the raspberry leaf tea, water, chicken, turkey, fish and celery. Everything else I can have on this diet I am tired of. But I always maintain my motivation! I have been engaged for 4 years (we can't afford to live on our own yet), and the dress is my motivation. It's a size 14 and David's Bridal can only alter it down to a 10. I'd love to have the problem where I need to take it to a professional to alter it down to an 8!
