New but clueful

Hey there,

Just wanted to say hi before I start posting; I normally never do at forums. I completely understand how this fitness and weight loss thing is supposed to work, its just the implementation part that trips me up.

Actually I'm getting pretty fit (RHR under 50), and I'm not quite over weight (BMI is 24ish) but I'd like to do better. So here I am. I'll probably head over to the journal area and start one, as well as try to help with questions I think I can answer. At least then I'll feel like I'm making use of all the info I've been hoarding in this head of mine.

Yup, its all about execution, and with practice you will get better and youll be "doing it" - the trick is to do what you need to do "come hell or high water" and remember that THIS is truly what you want, not the "other thing".

Heya! Absolutely! I'm 1/2 way already anyway; I work out a lot and eat well most of the time. It's just that when I mess up I MESS UP!
