Hello! I'm new in the forum! I was searching for a weight-loss community that might help support me as I try to get back into shape.
I'm female, 25, and about 5'1". My current weight is 200 lbs. I just found that out today and was floored at how I could be so heavy. I know how and why, but I didn't think with my height I could reach those extremes (but I'm a mixed blood filipino/black american, so maybe that contributes). Most of my childhood and throughout my teen years I've been rather overweight, maybe not as much as my mom likes to complain about quite often, but definitely far more than I should have been. So far, I haven't had any serious health problems, but I've noticed a severe lack in energy lately.
When I moved to Florida for a while to look for work, my aunt put me on a strict time limit to lose weight so I can work in the military (in case I couldn't find a job), so I ended up researching on weight loss and ended up exercising a lot. In a year I ended up losing around 40 lbs and was pretty proud of my accomplishment. My hope is to get back to the weight I stopped at (146 lbs) and finally reach my end goal of 138 lbs. Also, to fit in those nice clothes I bought, lol!
