Hi there,
I wrote a thread about 1 year and a half ago, haven't been able to lose the weight...anyways...
I've started going to the gym about 2 months ago..I've been going on and off...mainly because it's summer time and trips here and there and parties...it's been rough to be strict with the diet and the exercice. It's like I can't say no to a beer or wine...and every time I accept, the next morning I feel like hell and it wasn't in my plan but I just can't refuse under the pression of friends or family members. I would say I drink about 12-15 drinks per week or sometimes up to 20. I feel ashamed.
I am 6 feet tall, 28 years old and I weight about 210 pounds and have 28% body fat when I started about 2 months ago. I might be around 202 now and maybe 26% body fat. My trainer told me I need to go down to 185-190, so about 15 pounds to lose.
My gym routine consists of 30 minutes of HIIT treadmill running and 1:30 hour of weight lift.
I met with a nutritionist and she told me my metabolism spends 1800 calories doing nothing per day. She advised me to eat more and especially carbs, but good carbs like whole wheat products (bread, cereals, crackers), small potato with the screen or long grain brown rice. The thing is, I feel like I am allowed to eat more carbs and I eat them a lot. What would be the quantity I should eat per day? She told me to have at least 1 or 2 portions per meal.
Anyways, I am back here and I want to drop more body fat...it's more important to me than pounds on the scale...
Thank you all
