Need Weight loss/body building routine.

Hi, im new to the site and found it through a search engine. I currently weigh 176lbs and only around 5'6 or 5'7. My middle section is from the bottoms of my pecs to my waistline is in direr need of shaping ..arms and such are that of a non fat person as well as legs. But my main question is ...how do i shape all the fat of my upper body and mid section but at the same time turning it into muscle? I know you would think this should be a simple answer but ive read so many different things now so im confused. Everything ive read says that to lose weight do lots of cardio/low carb diets and what not but i wanna build it into muscle and get ripped not get skinny. Ive been running/walking every morning for an hour and then strength training a different muscle group such as benching one day and curling the next for one hour or until i cant do anymore. I take no supplements or anything like that. As far as eating ive been eating lots of protein and eating very little everyday just enough to get full and curb hunger pains. Does this sound like a suitable workout routine for my goals? If not I would love any comments or tips. Please and thank you and your comments are appreciated.
 
If you're not experienced enough to know the answer to your question, that that's a good sign that you can actually build muscle and lose fat at the same time with relative ease (once people get out of the rank noob stage of training, it usually takes some more convoluted nutritional rituals to build muscle and lose fat at the same time).

If you want to build muscle and lose weight at the same time, right now you should continue consuming the same amount of calories each day, but focus on healthier food sources. Consume 1-1.5g protein/lb bodyweight/day. Perform a simple resistance training program 3 non-consecutive days/week, eg Mon/Wed/Fri or Tue/Thur/Sat. Look in the weight training stickies for exercise program ideas. Right now, your strength training should be fullbody, not one muscle/day.
