I'm a 19 year old girl who has been working out 6-7 days a week for the past six years. The past year I cut back on working out because I had become a vegetarian and was losing weight rapidly just from cutting out meat. This summer I stopped working out altogether and needless to say, I gained 15 pounds and put on 3 inches to my body. I'm only 5'2" and from January - May I was 112-114 pounds and my measurements were 34-22-35. By August I was 131 pounds and my measurements were 36-25.5-37. Needless to say I decided I needed to go back to the gym, cut back on the partying, and start eating healthier. I've been working out 6-7 days a week since August and eating extremely healthy and I've only lose 4 pounds and two inches! I'm down to 127 and my measurements are 33-23.5-36. I can't figure out what i'm doing wrong but i'm getting to the point of complete frustration and almost feeling depressed about it. I watch all of my friends do stupid things to lose weight like take adderall and they're getting so thin. It's really making me mad that they can lose 4 pounds in a month and I've lost 4 pounds in 3 months. An example of my diet is...
Breakfast - Sugarfree Red Bull and either a bowl of Honey Nut Cheerios, a granola bar, a banana, or yogurt. (Only one of these.)
Lunch - Either a fruit and cheese plate or a Naked juice smoothie.
Dinner - Fish and salad or just a salad.
Snacks are usually yogurt or a granola bar or fruit.
I do 45 minutes of cardio, 150 sit ups, 50 push ups, 50 dips, and machines every day. What am I doing wrong?!
