Need to keep myself motivated

Hi everyone! I'm from Washington State, 33 years old, and trying to keep myself motivated. I'm currently down about 40 lbs from my all-time high, but am having a hard time keeping myself motivated to work out. I'm not one for dieting, per se, just try to eat healthier to support my body.

This is something I want to do, I just seem to keep falling off the wagon. I was at an all-time low about a year ago, thanks to regular rigorous exercise. What happened, I'm not sure, but I fell off the work-out wagon and have been having a devil of a time getting back on it. I'm currently recovering from bronchitis, but am trying to get all my ducks in a row to jump back on once I can breathe again.

I have about 30 lbs to lose, not setting any precise figures, just want to feel strong and lean. Once I can get off the couch, I plan to use my Zumba videos (anyone else using those?) and my jump rope.

Anyway, just wanted to introduce myself. I'm a bit bored at the moment, too sick to make it to my family's christmas party. Look forward to getting to know people!! :waving:

Welcome to the forum :waving: read the sticky posts scattered around the forum for great information. A good way to get to know some of the members is to take a look at some of the diaries, also good for a bit of motivation before starting your own :)

After a week of feeling like death, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Fever broke last night, chest crud breaking up. I have been bored silly and really wanting to move (but unable to do so). I'll have to see how the bruised rib feels in a couple of days, but *gasp* I may be able to work out next week!! :hurray:
