Need to get serious and Need some help

Hi everyone ;)
I'm new here but am no stranger to weightloss and diets.
And I need help with a few things!

I haven't been exercising at ALL, I usually do an hour of cycling everyday
I am still counting calories and only occasionaly go over. I NEED to lose weight. I want to lose as much as possible by June 22nd (departure date of trip to Holland YAY) How can I do this?
I'm really desperate....
I'm currently on 1400 calories. I might drop it to 1200.
I'm thinking of cycling everynight without fail for an hour but just harder than usual.

One other problem. How can I get my exercise done when I'm there? I'm used to cycling but nothing else. There is a gym 15 min away from where I'll be staying so I might go there...
Would walking be enough to keep losing weight? I'll be doing LOTS of walking, seeing the sights shopping etc.

I'd really appreciate any input!
 
hi - lucky you going to holland! just wanted to say that amsterdam has more bikes than i've ever seen, i'm sure you'll be able to rent one for the time you are there, perfect way to see the (flat) country and exercise too..

Hi there! Walking is an excellant way of loosing weight!

I am on the 1200 cal diet and it works great for me! I have 300 for breakfast, 100 for snack,300 for lunch, 100 for snack, 300 dinner, 100 snack. You can eat every 2 hrs if you want so you dont feel hungry.
