Need to get calories up, Is chips ok?

Im honestly not craving this stuff as much as you might think :p But when i went vegatarian my calorie and fat intake has droped a ton and i just dont know what to eat to get my calories up to 2600 - 2800 like they should be, So i was wondering is it ok to eat chips and maybe a couple slices of pizza or something to get it up to where it should be or do you have any other suggestions? My typical meal like today was:
Tons of water
1 veggie chicken patty on a bun with mayonase
2 veggie burgers both on buns with ketchup and mustard
2 prepacked containers of canalope peaces
2 packs of oatmeal
1 peanut butter sandwhich and a couple other things cant remember what but i have them writen down and im still under 1700 calories and under 60 grams of fat (should have 90.6)

Use protein powders and other MRPs to bring your caloric intake up. Since you went veggie, I'd imagine your protein intake probably is a bit low.

the problem with things like chips and other junk foods is that the calories they contain are totally empty and have no nutritional value so while you may be getting more calories your just starving your body with those useless calories. protein shakes are defently the way to go.

yup. the term "empty calories" is derived from this fact. it simply has no energy yield AND unhealthy.

Ditto.
You could also add some more fruit. Apples and bananas taste great with natty PB - which would help increase your calories.

I went unveggie today, Couldnt stand the food anymore and not eating chicken, So i'll probably get more calories but i will still make the protein shakes for sure. Im just trying to figure out what the best protein powder is right now that taste the best and where to get it.

100% Whey Isolate is probably the best type of protein powder. It is the easiest for the body to absorb, adn the quickest.

I bought a 2 lb jug of EAS Whey protein (20 grams a serving) at Wal mart for like 13 bucks. Optimum Nutrition is a good one too, Sometimes you can catch it on sale at GNC for 25 bucks for a 5 lb jug.
