Hello, all--
I'm currently working on a project regarding the mental aspects and hurdles of weight loss. We all know the best place to go to find experts on weight loss isn't really the diet "gurus"; while they certainly have great information and merit, the real experts are you and I. We know, first hand, the battles and triumphs ahead of us when losing weight, particularly a large amount of weight. (I have lost 140 pounds, regained a few, and am now losing the last 60 pounds to goal. You can find before/after photos of my weight loss journey ; this is a legitimate endeavor, not a come-on by a spammer.)
There are two surveys: one for successful losers, and the other for those who aspire to be successful losers but are experiencing difficulties achieving their goals. I'm shooting for a minimum of 500 responses for each group. (Not all from here, necessarily, which means I appreciate those of you willing to spread the word.)
Once I have that much input, my goal is to assemble the responses which best answer problems posed by the group experiencing difficulties.
If you are interested in participating, please visit . (Please note that there is nothing for sale on this site. It is the launching point for the two surveys and an announcement mailing list for those who wish to follow the project.)
Thanks!
Lisa
